  • There have been photographers from all over the world complete this course, with the bulk of photographers coming from the US, UK and Australia. I’ve written the course content so it can be applied to any location, and personally print using labs in all three regions, so have included advice on my favourite labs across the US, UK and Australia for order fulfillment. The print pricing calculations can be applied regardless of your location, if you have any questions throughout the course though, I’m just an email away to help.

    *As noted above, I do not provide specific advice on how to set up a business, as this will differ not only by country, but your personal circumstances and other business endeavours. The advice covered relates to selling prints and the sales/marketing/logistics/creative elements of this, not in running a business in general.

  • All content is provided via downloadable PDF workbooks. There are 9 x workbooks in total, each covering a different topic or step in the process of selling prints. I teach and share better when I can spill everything I know onto a page, and believe it’s best that you have this information written down so you can refer back to it as you design your print store and start selling prints.

    There is no video element to this course, trust me, you don’t want to see how awkward I am on camera.

  • Absolutely not! Your photos need to be good enough that someone will want to hang them on their walls, however we all have a unique customer base waiting for our work. Our photographs won’t be everyone’s taste, this course teaches you how to market and sell prints to a niche audience of people that will want to buy your work, whatever it may be. If you specialise in digital art that covers the fantasy space, there’s an audience for you. If you shoot landscape photographs and want to sell prints, there’s a much bigger audience for you, and the key then will be to stand out from the crowd - we also cover that!

  • No, this course is designed to be for self-study purposes as creating a print store is time consuming, and we will all have varying amounts of time we can dedicate to it. You may devour this course in two weeks, or you may want to take your time over a year. The workbooks are yours to download and progress through at your own pace, knowing I’m available via email to answer any questions :)

To sell prints, in most cases, you need to set up a business of some kind. As each country will differ in their business requirements to sell prints, I’m unable to cover this or provide specific advice related to your business setup. You’re of course welcome to network within the Facebook group and ask questions to see if others have experience or can provide some links to assist, however I cannot ensure this advice is correct and suggest always doing your own research when setting up a business.

I’m also unable to offer financial advice specific to your business however do share estimates and suggested pricing. I will share how I set up my own print store, my suggested pricing structure and which apps/programs I use for my sales process however this will not be the only method, and it’s important to assess what is correct for your own business.
