PEOPLE & CULTURE

To be eligible for Photographer of the Year 2025, you’ll need to upload a minimum of 3 images across all three categories. If you’d prefer to only upload 1 image, you’re welcome to do this, and you will still be eligible to win a category prize.

CATEGORY NOTES: This category focuses on the human side of travel. From portraits to street scenes, festivals, and everyday life, it’s about capturing the essence of people and their cultural connections. Images could showcase traditions, rituals, community, or candid encounters that highlight the diversity and vibrancy of the world’s cultures. *Please note that ethical photographic practices must have been followed to ensure an image is eligible.

ENTRY DETAILS: All images must be in colour, no sepia or black + white will be accepted.

  1. Maximum file size is 3MB per image. JPEGS only.

  2. Files must be in sRGB colour space, with no watermarks.

  3. To ensure images are judged in the correct category, please name your files in the following format: FirstName_LastName_Category.jpg
    (e.g. Sarah_Smith_PeopleCulture.jpg)

    Please note, you can only submit each category form ONCE. Your submission forms aren’t saved for security reasons, so you can’t come back to it later, alter, adjust, or edit your submissions after entering.
